LIBERTY WATER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The City of Bell Gardens is providing temporary water utility assistance to eligible Bell Gardens residents that experienced a rate increase in their Liberty Utilities bill. Approved applications will receive a bi-monthly credit on their water invoice in the amount equal to the approved water rate increase. The assistance will be paid by the City directly to Liberty Utilities.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Must be a single meter Liberty Utilities water customer

- Must reside at an eligible Bell Gardens residence

- Annual household income cannot exceed the U.S. Department of Housing income limits

Required Documents:

- Complete Application

- Proof of household income

- Provide Liberty Utilities water bill

Bell Gardens residents can apply regardless of immigration status.

Applications available October 1, 2021 at the Community Family Service Center.
