Hollywood Community Housing Corporation

Hollywood Community Housing Corporation creates homes for many different kinds of households.

 Disadvantaged Families: 
HCHC's low-income families, some of whom are immigrants, work hard toget by on a fraction of the area median income. Our Supportive Services staff works with residents to provide stimulating activities, field trips, workshops and life skills classes 
Homeless Households: 
Many of HCHC's residents were formerly homeless, and came to us from shelters,transitional living facilities or the streets. 

People with HIV/AIDS: 
HCHC provides housing for low-income and formerly homeless households living with HIV/AIDS. 

Disabled: 
HCHC designs its buildings with the physically disabled in mind. Common areas are wheelchair accessible. Many buildings contain special apartments with lowered counters and larger bathrooms to accommodate the needs of disabled individuals.

Senior Citizens: 
Senior citizens live in HCHC's affordable housing buildings and make up an important part of our community. Two of our buildings are designated exclusively for residents over the age of 62. The rest are open to people of all ages.
